Croatia is one of the newest hotspots on the map of geothermal developments in Europe, with the Pannonian Basin having a 60 percent higher geothermal gradient than the European average. The event aims to explore these opportunities and discuss how to turn this potential into reality.

About the Forum
The Geothermal Investment Forum Croatia 2025 (GIFC) aims to bring together experts in the field, industry stakeholders, government officials and representatives from EU and international institutions to explore the potentials of geothermal energy in Croatia and beyond. The Forum will cover a wide range of topics including optimal investment models and state subsidies, partnerships with national and local governments, and application of geothermal energy in urban development, district heating and agriculture.
